About the Author
Dr Chris Williams is a Professor and Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist at the University of Glasgow. He has developed a range of educational life skills resources based on cognitive behavioural therapy principles. These include resources that aim to help low mood, stress, confidence and other common problems. The content of the LLTTF site was written by Dr Williams and is used under licence.
He is a Past-President of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies - the lead body for CBT in the United Kingdom. He is a Director of Glasgow Institute of Psychosocial Interventions (GIPSI) - which has a focus on training and research in evidence-based psychosocial interventions and is a Patron of the charity Triumph over Phobia - a user-led self-help organisation addressing self-management of anxiety. He is also Patron of the Anxiety UK.
